Ok, so Dan Rooney technically isn't "THE" Chief.

But as the true Chief passed on a couple of decades ago, Dan Rooney is the closest we've got. Plus, I thought that might make for a clever post title. So lay off me, ok?!?!

Anyways, here's video of Dan Rooney being sworn in (or whatever you call it) as the new US Ambassador to Ireland. I could not be prouder that the new liasion to my country of ancestry (one of them at least) is also the head of my favorite football team.

Congratulations, again, Mr. Rooney. You are a true diplomat in all that you do.

Go get 'em, tiger!
