There were many big contributions tonight, but arguably none bigger than Ben coming back after absorbing that hit I can't get out of my head in the 1st half, after which he could barely limp off the field.
16/21 for 280 yards and 2 TDs, with a broken thumb on his throwing hand, and a high sprain on his left ankle.
Heal up, dude, but what a machine.
Something that looks more like a recap to come.
In the meantime, good win...

I thought the season was gone. Name another QB in the league who does that. Pouncey is becoming a concern; constant leg issues. That leads to Kemo playing and drive killing penalties.
Meanwhile, William Gay is becoming good.

Great post! I think "I'm a survivor" by Beyonce would have been a good choice as well. I love the toughness of Ben, just worry about the long time issues. How long can he take these beatings?

Amazing by Ben. Instead of True Grit, Robocop might be more appropriate! It was a sight to behold seeing how his return lifted the team. I've never seen Mendenhall run so hard! Let's hope, that when the adrenaline wears off today, Ben will be at least questionable for the 49ers. High ankle sprains are a bitch! MVP of the game was the defense though. Even with the win, a lot to be concerned about however for a tough game coming up on the road: Ben's ankle, Pouncey's ankle, Troy's "tweaked" hamstring, Harrison possible suspension, etc. etc.
