I'm kidding, obviously, but I could probably wrap the preliminary recap there and it'd be a pretty appropriate reflection of what happened at Heinz Field today.
There is honestly so much to be excited about after this game.
Yes, it was the Bengals, who were 2-10 (now 2-11), but...
In the 2nd half of this game, the Bengals only held the ball for eight (out of 30) minutes, and gained only 75 yards (literally, only FOUR on the ground).
Plus, the way the Bengals pulled that pussy shit last season when they danced on Heinz Field like a bunch of pixies after they swept us...we owed them an even bigger beatdown, but I'll allow the one we gave them today anyhow.
I have some great stuff lined up for the full recap, but in the meantime, grab yourselves a celebratory adult beverage, bask in 10-3 (4-1 in the division), and root your face off for the Texans tomorrow night.
The Steelers face the [currently] 9-3 "powerhouse" Jets next week.
No time to slow down, now. Here's to full speed ahead...
Feel free to share your elation in the comments.
HERE WE GO, STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!
If you haven't already, become a fan of OFTOT on Facebook, and follow Cotter on Twitter. Or don't. Your choice, really.
Thank you, anonymous fact checker. An excited oversight on my part, which has now been corrected.

Grumpy
If the offense doesn't get going, and we don't cut down the penalties, we may be living on borrowed time.

Jonesz
Greate win! The Bungles always make me nervous. My main question coming out of this game is, "what exactly consitutes a late hit on Ben?". I mean seriously he had at least three hits on him that would have got James Harrison fined.

Gerrimy
- any way
Wins in the NFL are like the hot chick in school, you get them any way you can. Yea so what she might only date you cause you have nice car, you get her any way you can or because you're the only guy dumb enough to use your lunch money to buy her the sweets or cause she feels bad for you cause she knows she's out of your league. Doesn't matter all that matter is that you got her. All that matters in the NFL is that you win. I agree if we don't get better production out of the offense and if we don't cut down on penalties we're on borrowed time. But, hey , we got another week to figure that out. We should have several weeks to figure that out.
Can this team beat New England right now? Probably not, but we don't have to play NE now so lets not worry about that. I don't want to get so caught up in 'style' points I can't enjoy a win in the NFL. Cause lets face it you could be the guy without the car, without the girl, and be the Carolina Panthers.
