Cause, the Steelers didn't roll into Denver in January 2006 and annihilate the Broncos in the AFC Championship game en route to their 5th super bowl title...

![]() This is [one of the things] the Denver Post is saying about Monday Night's game. Ok, so in six games last century the Steelers lost to the Broncos in November (and in one game three years ago). Neat. The only way I see this being relevant is if you talk about weather and altitude. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure the ghost of 1989 John Elway isn't going to suddenly resurrect itself to rain on the Steelers Defense. Sure, the Denver cold is about as fun as an aluminum bat to the face. But the Steelers are a cold weather team that also plays in the mountains. And yes, they're high up there in Denver. But being high never hurt Santonio Holmes... Kidding. Seriously, though, will altitude determine whether the Steelers win or lose on Monday? Doubtful. Are we missing something here?
