[Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show
[Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show - 2009, Episode 10... E-mail

Well, if you haven't already jumped off the Steelers bandwagon, here's Episode 10 of the [Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show.

This week, Tec and I touch on the infamous Cincinnati Sweep, Arnold Harrison getting the axe, how many sacks Silverback will have on Matt Cassel on Sunday, whether or not it's too early to start looking at other teams schedules in anticipation of a wild card, and of course, our predictions for Steelers - Chiefs this Sunday.

PS - THIS "Use Me" t-shirt is what I was talking about in reference to Arnold Harrison. Just so you all know I didn't just make that shit up.

Also, if you haven't read the Chiefs preview yet, now's as good a time as any to remedy that...

And if you have some type of unhealthy obsession with mediocre to sub-par home made entertainment, feel free to watch it again over at PSaMP.

This is Episode 9 of the [Unnamed] Steelers Pregame Show (2009 season), in case the title didn't give it away.

It's like last week's show, only it's this week's show.

See the difference there?

Anyways, this week Tec and I tackle topics including - last week's win, the glut of individual awards the Steelers were up for this week, is Troy the defensive MVP, will FWP contribute before the end of the year, whether Rashard and MeMo will be able to hold it down if [when] FWP leaves via free agency, and of course, our predictions for Sunday's game against the Bangles.

As usual, we hope you enjoy...

And if you get bored with those spreadsheets you're working on, feel free to watch it again over at PSaMP.

I'd provide commentary about this week's episode, but as I've spent a cumulative four hours or so putting together this week's Meeting People Is Easy (which will be posted early this afternoon), I'm going to have to decline.

I will, however, correct myself - in this week's show I mention that Elvis Dumervil is the only guy ahead of James Harrison in terms of sacks. Obviously that is incorrect, since Jared Allen actually has more sacks than Elvis Dumervil. So, whatever. That'll teach me not to consult an updated stats sheet that takes into account anything that happened during the Steelers bye week.

Oh well, shit happens.

Also, if you haven't already, be sure to read OFTOT's Broncos preview that we managed to post at about 5 PM yesterday, just in time for none of you to see it. Seriously, it's worth it just for the photoshop (which you should already be able to see since it's the next post right below this one).

PS - If you've got some kind of morbid obsession or something, go watch this thing again over at PSaMP.

I'm not a huge fan of bragging.

Let's face it, with a blog like this, how could I be?

But this honestly has to be our best show yet.

First of all, we knocked it out like Mike Tyson circa 1989 - in ONE take.

Second of all, we stumbled over our words significantly less than usual (which I consider to be a huge win).

And third, we must be doing something  right because we've already got a Vikings troll commenting over at YouTube (feel free to launch a fervent response).

Of course, quality is a subjective matter to a certain degree.

And ultimately, all that matters to us is that the show entertains you.

So fingers crossed that it'll at least hold your attention better than the movie Glitter.

Anyways, this week Tec and I discuss last week's win against Cleveland, having Troy back in the lineup, which Viking or Vikings we should be worried about, how unreal Big Ben is, and of course, our predictions for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota.

Check it out and report back.

The only way we get better is by listening to your feedback.

Hell, maybe someday we'll even be as good as this guy (still not done pissing myself with laughter, by the way).

A man can dream, can't he?

Oh, and when you're done watching it here, check it out several hundred more times at PSaMP.

You know what this thing is all about.

Really, there's no sense in me previewing the video for you.

You'll hear us somehow stammer through discussing last week's game, Troy and Aaron Smith's injuries, Mendenhall vs. Willie, probably something else I'm forgetting right now, and of course, predictions for this week's game against the Browns (game preview coming this afternoon).

We sincerely hope you enjoy (as always).

And when you're done watching it here, check it out again at PSaMP.

PS - Happy Birthday, MATT!!!
